耐心与坚持

要从创伤的影响中康复,在不正常的家庭中成长,需要耐心与坚持。我们自然迫不及待地想要到达终点,跳过艰苦的疗愈工作,一刻也不想耽搁。成功康复的一个重要部分,就是学会准确地说出发生在我们身上的事情,以及我们内在生活的组成部分,包括说出我们的各种感受,学会容忍情绪痛苦,而不是用药物或其他手段消除痛苦。

最深刻的疗愈原则之一,就体现在“一步一个脚印”这句话里。尽管疗愈需要很长的时间,但只要将这句格言铭记于心,我们的看法就会立即改变——康复之旅不仅变得更容易忍受,而且更有意义了;与此同时,我们也能专注于当下。在我们为掩埋起来的痛苦而哀伤,修通我们的核心康复问题时,我们要耐心地、慢慢地释放我们过去未解决的内部冲突。我们会逐渐发现,我们未来的终点尚未注定。我们的生活就在当下,这才是我们最终能找到平静的地方。
